"I initially learned about the school online at greatschools.net. Excited about what I saw I visited the school at the start of the 2009 school year. At the time of my first visit, I was initially impressed with how open and friendly the staff and teachers were. I received a tour of the school and I was invited to sit in on any classroom to get a feel for how the teachers and students interacted. I was most impressed with the student teacher relationship. While I did not chose WNCS for that school year, after a miserable school year at a neighboring school, it led me back to visit WNCS, not once, but four times. On the fourth visit, I was convinced that this was where my son belonged. We have been at the school since the start of the school year and we are so very happy to be apart of the WNCS family. The staff and teachers have gone out of their way to ensure the success of my rambunctious 8 year old son. What we appreciate most about the school is the care that is demonstrated toward the students by everyone. Learning, spirituality, diversity, kindness, creativity and individualism are encouraged at every stage at WNCS. We plan to have our son complete all of his grades at WNCS. ~ April R. ~
"This is our first year at WNCS. My 2nd grader loves going to school and is always sharing the fun thins she is learning and knowledge she is able to apply to life even at her young age. I like the hands-on approach to academics and the multiple interactions the younger children have with the older ones in games and other learning activities. As a Christian school, I also appreciate the intellectual approach WNCS takes to spiritual principles and God's Word. It is taught in a way that makes applicable to everyday life and builds a reverence for the Lord Jesus Christ that is wholesome and close to the heart. ~ Dari P.

Jr. K/Kindergarten: We warmly welcome children who are four-years-old by September 1st to the Junior Kindergarten. Children who turn five by September 1st can enroll in the regular Kindergarten program. Parents may choose the half day program which covers all academic preparation for the child’s next year or they may choose the full day program which adds enrichment activities in the afternoon session. Class size is limited to ensure individual attention.
