Open House Postponed to Feb. 17th

Our Open House has been postponed to Wednesday, February 17, 2010 @ 7pm. Due to current weather conditions Our topic this year - "Hands-on Learning".

Coming Soon - Living Courageously

Living your religion - spiritual growth with the New Church - Living Courageosly is a seven-week program beginning January 31, 2010 focusing on deeper meanings within the story of Elijah, and using that knowledge to help participants make positive changes in everyday life.  You may participate in this program either with a group, or individually, to discover new insights about your life which will help you feel closer to the Lord. Washington New Church School

You can bring your child with confidence to the Washington New Church school. We offer a full day Junior K/Kindergarten program beginning at age 4 through grade 10.

The Washington New Church welcomes interested parents to learn more about our school. We offer a quality Christian education with an emphasis not just on excellence in academics and arts, but on living a moral and spiritual life.

We are also able to offer after school care three days a week.

Remodeling of Kindergarten Classroom

An architect has been chosen to begin the remodeling of the Kindergarten classroom. The space will be enlarged and designed to accommodate our new, all day Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten program. Applications for your child's enrollment are open until June 1, 2009.

Special Program Materials Available Online

Materials are available online for self-learning for the Building Healthy Relationships New Church small groups program that many church members joined us for this past fall. It was great to have energetic congregational participation with this positive program. We look forward to a new exciting program in Fall 2009.

Southeastern District Scholarship Fund

A grant is available for any student who lives in the SE district who would like assistance to pay for education at the Academy of the New Church Boys' or Girls' Secondary Schools, the Bryn Athyn College or the Theological School of the New Church. Applications are due no later than April 1, 2009, for those hoping to attend in the 2009-2010 school year. email secretaryWNCS@comcast.net for further information.

New Church Adoption Grant has been Established

The New Church Adoption Grant will help finance adoptions for those affiliated with the New Church. For more information about this program available to New Church members, please read the full news item.

Christmas at the Washington New Church

The holiday season is full of Church and school services, programs and activities. Please note! The Tableaux scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 20 has been postponed due to weather until Monday, Dec. 21 @ 7:30 PM. Candlelight Christmas Eve Service- December 24th @ 7:00 PM - and Christmas Day service - December 25th @ 11:00 AM. Check out other events on the Calendar page
